Installing the Undersplices and Oversplice for Small Grain
Floor Planks
1. Place plank ends together.
2. Place the undersplice (B) under the planks. Make sure the undersplice extends 3" across each plank.
3. Install the undersplice (B) to the planks using two (2) self-tapping screws (C) per splice to hold it in
place. (See Figure 4G.)
4. Place the oversplice (A) over the length of the plank splice seams.
5. Install the oversplice (A) to the planks and undersplices (B) using three self-tapping screws (C)
per each undersplice.
