carry out the setting described in ”Selecting the video output socket (RGB or
S-Video)” on page 12.
With an S-VHS connection, the brightness and colour signals are processed
separately. This improves the bandwidth and picture quality.
If the DVD player is connected to a television set with a 16:9 format, observe
the settings described in the ”Selecting the screen format of the television”
section on page 12.
The colour norm of the DVD player’s screen menus has to be adapted to the
format of the television. Make sure to observe the settings described in the
”Setting the TV system” section on page 30.
