Alignment
All adjustment controls not mentioned in this description are pre-set at the factory and must not be re-adjusted in the case of repairs.
1. Chassis Board
Measuring instruments:
Dual-channel oscilloscope, 10:1 test probe, digital voltmeter, colour video generator.
Service works after replacement or repair of the following modules:
- Chassis:
alignment 1.1
- Tuner, IF amplifier:
alignment 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 or 1.6.1
- PIP modul, tuner:
alignment 1.3, 1.11
- IC80065, IC80070:
alignment 1.2…1.4, 1.7…1.12.1 and 1.15
- horizontal deflection:
alignment 1.12…1.14 and 2.2

On activation of AFC Reference a rectified IF-voltage from
the AFC output of IC32040 is measured at the multipoint
connector, contact 5, of the signal module which is used on
station search or for VCR-RF playback (station identification
"AV") as a comparative value to readjust the modulator
drift (typ. 127
±
10). Activate with "OK".
