Set­the­lead/follow-up­time
With this function you can change the recording
time set by the electronic TV guide.
If you think that a program will start a few min-
utes earlier or will end several minutes later, you
can „add“ up to 60 minutes to this time.

You can use data from the electronic TV guide
for recording.
20 programmes can be preset for the timer
recording or as a reminder.
1­ Press » GUIDE « to display channel informa-
tion.
– The electronic TV guide appears.

Before the timer recording begins, a warn-
ing message appears with a 20-second
countdown. You can switch over to the
programmed television channel.

If the timer recording starts during play-
back, playback is not interrupted: Recording
takes place automatically in the background
as long as you do not select »Yes« when the
timer countdown message is shown.

Note for UPC customers only: When a pro-
gram is recorded, it can happen that a part
of the previous or next program is included
in the recording schedule due to possible
electronic TV guide inaccuracies. Please be
advised that in this case, when one or more
of these programs are parental rated, the
highest access level will be applied for the
entire recording.
