6.4.2 Hygienic replacement of the filter element
1. Remove the used filter element from the support fabric.
2. Dispose of the used filter element in accordance with local
regulations.
3. Pick up the filter element in its packaging.
4. Open the foil, but do not remove the foil from the filter
element.
For hygienic reasons, the new filter element must not be
touched with bare hands.
5. Slide the filter element in the foil over the support fabric.
6. Pull off the foil downwards without touching the filter
element.
7. Check the sealing surfaces and the O-ring of the filter
cylinder for cleanliness, replace the O-ring if necessary.
8. Screw in the filter bell by hand as far as the stop.
9. Put the filter into operation as described in chapter 5.
» You have completed the change of the filter element.
10. Set the date for the next maintenance by setting the month
display.
