Automated Roll-Up Sides

Attach Motor Adapter to Roll-Up Conduit

Complete these steps:
1.  Measure 1-1/8" in from the end of the roll-up conduit and mark the

mounting hole location for the motor adapter.

2.  Slide the motor adapter onto the conduit pipe, aligning bolt holes with

drilled hole in conduit.

3.  Tigten bolts using a 16mm and/or 17mm socket wrench to secure adapter

to conduit. (Bolt heads may be different sizes.)

4.  Continue with the next procedure.

ATTACH MOTOR ADAPTER TO ROLL-UP CONDUIT

ATTENTION:

If the roll-up conduit is not attached to the roll-up side panel,

return to the roll-up panel assembly section of the

main building instructions

and complete the steps to install the side panel and attach the roll-up conduit to

the side panel. Return to this guide and continue with the steps below.

EXTENSION PIPE:

If the roll-up conduit is already installed, a 12" extension

pipe (131S012) is included to add to the roll-up conduit

if needed

. Adding this

12" pipe prevents the need to completely detach the roll-up panel from the

roll-up conduit if additional conduit length is needed to reach the drive motor

and adapter. Use the motor position to better judge how long the roll-up conduit

needs to be. Add the extension pipe if needed and cut to length. Secure the

pipe to the roll-up conduit using a Tek or similar self-tapping screw.

Use of the extension pipe depends on whether the installed roll-up conduit is

long enough to reach the new positon of the drive motor with installed adapter.
