Starting the engine
Turn the on/off button (6) to the ON position.
If the temperature is below freezing, press
the primer (a) 2-3 times.
Push the petrol cock (d) all the way to the
right.
Push the choke (c) all the way to the left.
Push the throttle (b) all the way to the right.
Pull the starter handle (5) out until you feel
resistance. Now pull the starter handle hard
to start the engine.
Do not allow the starter handle to recoil onto
the engine. Slowly guide it back.
Once the engine has started, gradually push
the choke fully to the right and move the
throttle around the centre position as the
engine gradually warms up.
Adjust the engine speed using the throttle
lever.
Switching the engine off
Move the throttle to the lowest position. Turn
the on/off button to the OFF position. The
engine turns off .
Adjusting the working height
The support wheels (9) help to support and
control the machine but are also used for
adjusting the distance between the brush
and the ground. Use the height adjustment
knobs (12) to adjust the sweeping machine
to the required working height.
Use
Remove any foreign objects from the work
area. Start the engine and let it warm up for a
few minutes.
Turn the brush to the required position
using the turning handle (14). Move the gear
selector (4) to the required position
while the
sweeping machine is stationary

Gear 1/2
Used for operation with sweeping
Gear 3/4
Used for operation without sweeping
Gear R1/R2
Used for reverse without sweeping
You must not change gear while the
sweeping machine is running!
