Re� lling with fuel
The engine runs on a mixture of two-stroke
oil and unleaded petrol in a ratio of 1:40
(mix 25 ml two-stroke oil and 1 litre unleaded
petrol).
Shake the fuel tank prior to � lling up, as the
fuel mixture can separate after long periods
in storage. Do not use fuel mixtures that have
been stored for more than one month.
Remove the fuel cap from the fuel tank (7)
and � ll up with fuel. Replace the fuel cap and
check that it will not come loose during use.
Starting the engine
Place the machine on a � at and stable
surface. The head of the attachment must
not be touching anything.
Set the on/off switch (3) to the ON/I position.
If the engine is cold, you should push the
choke (24) to the closed position.
Press the primer (25) 10 times until it pumps
fuel into the engine.
Hold the machine towards the ground with
one hand, never with your foot.
Pull the starter handle (6) several times until
the engine starts. Do not let the starter
handle hit the engine since this can cause
damage.
