Caution: the machine may vibrate heavily, or
kick back when cutting with the end of the
blade.
Do not use the machine for sawing any
material other than wood.
Ensure that you do not accidentally cut
power or telephone cables, etc. and always
make sure there are no other people or
animals near the machine when starting or
using the machine.
Lift the blade from the item being cut while
the chain is still running. If the chain stops
while it is in the workpiece, it can pull the
operator forward and cause injury.
Always � t the protective sleeve on the blade
when transporting or storing the machine.
NB! The machine may only be used with the
combination of blade and chain indicated
under ‘Technical data’.
Risk of personal injury
When using the machine, be particularly
aware of the following risks:
• Contact with unscreened running or
moving parts dele (risk of cuts or lesions)
• Unforeseen sudden movement of the
attachment (risk of cuts or lesions)
• Ejection of parts from the machine (risk
of lesion and eye damage)
• Inhalation of fuel fumes, exhaust fumes
and sawdust (risk of poisoning and lung
damage)
• Skin contact with petrol and oil (risk of
allergy and cancer)
• Contact with hot silencer (danger of
burning)
• Noise (risk of hearing damage through
failure to wear approved hearing
protection)
