Keep the area clean. Paint or solvent containers, cloths nor other inflammable materials should
not be kept in the area.

Check the composition of spraying paints and solvents. Make sure you are familiar with all safe-
ty data sheets (MSDS) and stickers on paint and solvent containers. Follow closely the safety
procedures of paint and solvent manufacturers.
10.
A functional extinguishing equipment should be kept at site.
11.
Spraying device generates sparks. If an inflammable liquid is used in the spraying device or
in its vicinity for the purposes of rinsing or cleaning, keep the spraying device at a distance of at
least 6 m from the explosive fumes.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1.
The plug of the power tool must fit in the socket. Do not alter the plug in any way. Do not use
adapter plugs while using power tools with protective earthing (PE). Unaltered plugs
and matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock..
2.
Earthed devices must be correctly plugged in to the installed and earthed socket accord-
ing to all norms and standards. It is forbidden to remove earthing contact member or alter
the plug any way. Do not use any plug adapters. When in doubt whether the socket is properly
earthed, contact a qualified electrician. If power tools stop operating properly or are broken,
earthing ensures a way of low resistant electricity discharge from the user.
3.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators or refrigerators. When
the body of a user is earthed, the risk of electric shock is increased.
4.
Do not expose power tools to rain or humid conditions. Water inside the power tool increases
the risk of electric shock.
5.
Use cables according to its intended purpose. Never use cables for transport, dragging nor dis-
connecting the power tool from the socket. Damaged cables should be replaced immediately.
Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
6.
In case of outdoor use of the power tool, use an extension cable for outdoor use. The use
of a proper extension cable (for outdoor use) reduces the risk of electric shock.
HYPODERMIC INJECTION HAZARD
High pressure jet can be a cause of injection of toxins into body or severe injuries. In case of such acci-
dents immediately contact surgeon for medical assistance.
1.
Do not aim the pistol towards people or animals; do not spray people or animals.
2.
Do not place your hand nor other body part near the exhaustion nozzle. For instance, do not
try to prevent leakage with a body part.
3.
Always use nozzle tip shell. Do not perform any spraying if the nozzle tip shell is not in its proper place.
4.
Use nozzles manufactured by GRÖNE.
5.
Keep caution while cleaning and exchanging nozzle tips. In case of blockage in nozzle tip dur-
ing spraying make sure to perform decompression procedure in order to switch off the device
and reduce pressure before the nozzle tip is removed for cleaning.
6.
Do not leave the device plugged in the power supply or placed under pressure unattended. If
the device is not used, make sure to switch it off and perform the decompression procedure.
7.
Make sure hoses and other parts are not damaged. Damaged hoses or parts must be replaced.
8.
The system can generate 21 MPa (207 bar) pressure. Use GRÖNE replacement parts and acces-
sories with minimum 21 MPa (207 bar) rating parameters.
9.
If the device is not used, turn on the trigger blocking. Make sure the trigger blocking functions
correctly.
10.
Before the device is turned on make sure to check if all elements are properly connected.
11.
Read carefully procedures of quick stopping and decompression of the device. Pay attention
to mastering of the steering elements work.
