Assembly
The machine must be fully assembled before it
can be operated. Before beginning the assembly
process, refer to
Needed for Setup and gather
all listed items. To ensure the assembly process
goes smoothly, first clean any parts that are cov-
ered or coated in heavy-duty rust preventative (if
applicable).
4. Assemble (1) gusset (see Figure 5) with (2)

20 rail nuts. Only thread rail nuts halfway on
for now.
5. Repeat Step 4 with (3) remaining gussets.
Note: There are (2) left gussets and (2) right
gussets (see
Figure 6).
6. Install (1) left gusset assembly and (1) right
gusset assembly on each long guide block by
sliding rail nuts into track, as shown in
Figure 6.

UHMW Tape
To assemble slab flattening mill:
1. Locate (2) long guide blocks and (2) short
guide blocks (see
Figure 3).
2. Apply (8) strips of 13 x 101.5mm UHMW tape
at each corner of long guide block as shown
in
Figure 4. End of each strip should be flush
with end of block.
3. Apply (8) strips of 13 x 51mm UHMW tape at
each corner of short guide block (see
Figure 4).
