The Model T27961 comes with

" sanding sleeves for sanding a
variety of different curve sizes.
Spindle sanding is typically performed to
sand inside/outside curves and irregular
shapes. The oscillating sander moves up
and down as it rotates to help create a
smooth surface and more evenly distribute
wear on sanding sleeves.
Note: When installing the

2
" sanding
sleeve on the shaft, a rubber drum is not
necessary. Sleeve mounts directly to the
spindle shaft.
Using Spindle Sander
To use spindle sander:
1. Connect tool to power supply
2. Hold sander base in contact with a
stable and secure workpiece, as shown
in
Figure 6, and turn it ON.
3. Use speed control dial (see Figure 5)
to adjust speed between 1800 RPM (1)
and 3200 RPM (6).
4. Turn tool OFF when done.
