4.  Loosen the pointer adjustment screw shown 

in 

Figure 41, set the pointer in line with the 

"0"  mark  on  the  scale,  then  re-tighten  the 
screw.

must be calibrated to ensure quick and accurate 
positioning of the fence.

To calibrate the fence pointer:

1.  Make  sure  the  blade  is  properly  tensioned 

(

Page 24).

2.  DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!

3.  Position  the  fence  against  the  left  side  of 

the  blade  so  that  it  is  touching  the  blade 
without  applying  pressure  to  it,  as  shown  in 

Figure 40, then lock the fence in place.
