Wear eye protection when operating
the bender. Failure to wear eye
protection can result in serious eye
injury from flying debris.

• Turn bender OFF before changing
accessories. Accidental start-up
can result in serious injury.
• Keep hands away from bending
shoe and rollers when bender is in
use. Conduit at the bending shoes
and rollers can crush a hand.
Do not remove guards.
Failure to observe this warning can
result in severe injury or death.
Replacement batteries must be
rated by the battery manufacturer for
use in any position. Other batteries
may leak acid when the bender is
transported or used in the horizontal
bending position.

• Inspect the bender before using. Replace
worn, damaged or missing parts with Greenlee
replacement parts. A damaged or improperly
assembled component could break and strike
nearby personnel.
• Do not overbend conduit or pipe. Overbending
could cause conduit to run out of shoe groove
resulting in damage to the bender.
• Use the bender for manufacturer’s intended
purpose only. Use other than that which is
described in this manual can result in injury
or property damage.

information supplied with the battery charger.

disconnect the charger from the
power source and disconnect
battery cables.
