Follow these steps:
MONTHLY MAINTENANCE (EVERY 30 DAYS)
Every 30 days we recommend you replace certain elements of the Mosquito Preventer. Ask the retailer, or place where you
purchased your unit if they carry the Reactor Kits.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
Check water level of the Mosquito Preventer through the viewing window. If green the water level is good, if red more water needs
to be added to the system. To add more water remove the rain guard, lid and umbrella and then add water to the breeding zone
until the green bobber appears in the viewing window. Return the umbrella, lid and rain guard securely back onto the Mosquito
Preventer.
Your Mosquito Preventer is now set up. The system will rinse once before starting its automatic cycling schedule.
END OF SEASON MAINTENANCE
Follow steps 1 and 3 from the monthly maintenance and remove the batteries. Wash, dry and store the Mosquito Preventer in an
upright position and in a dry place.
1. Put Mosquito Preventer into Maintenance Mode by pressing the power button and holding it for 3-5 seconds. The light will start
blinking, and the valve will open and drain the water.
2. Replace the reactor. Remove the previous month’s reactor and peel off the label on the new reactor.
3. Drain the water from the bottom by removing the grommet. When fully drained return the grommet back into the bottom.
*See note in WARNINGS, page 1 for draining area
4. Refill the Mosquito Preventer with 3.2L of either rain or distilled water (to prevent calcium buildup).
5. Replace both of the landing strips and repeat step 10 of setup instructions.

POWER BUTTON DIAGNOSTICS
When the Mosquito Preventer encounters an error, it will stop all operations and flash the power button in a specific way to let
the user know what part of the preventer has failed. It will flash a different number of times for each error followed by a 5 second
pause. It will repeat this sequence until the error has been resolved and the system has been reset. To manually reset the system
remove the batteries for 3 seconds.
