9. At the Work Screen, press Next Page (10) until the
CTRL SETUP key (11) appears.
10. Press CTRL SETUP.
11. Select a new material (12) from the list.
12. Change the Material Name (13) to a desired name.
For example: HD Cotton.
13. Change Type to PLANTER CONTROL if the planter
is hydraulic driven, or MONITOR ONLY if it is ground
driven.
 NOTE:
This setting must match Channel 1 unless the planter is
ground driven, then Channel 1 is disabled.
14. It is recommended to change the Preset Method to
Disabled.
If Enabled is desired, make sure all 10 rates are filled
in.
15. Enter the desired Target Rate.
 NOTE:
The Target Rate establishes the desired rate of application
in KS (thousand seeds) per acre.
16. Enter the desired Max Rate
 NOTE:
The Max Rate establishes the maximum application rate
in KS (thousand seeds) per acre. Target Rate cannot
exceed the Max Rate.
17. Enter the desired Min Rate.
 NOTE:
The Min Rate establishes the minimum application rate in
KS (thousand seeds) per acre. Target Rate cannot be lower
than the Min Rate.
18. The Inc/Dec% rate establishes the percentage of
change of the target rate that will be applied each
time the Inc/Dec% key is pressed in the Work
Screen.
19. Enter 36 as the Seeds Per Rev.
 NOTE:
Hill Drop cotton uses a 12 cell seed disk but picks up three
seeds per cell for a total of 36 seeds per revolution.
20. Set the Disc Lower Limit to 20 RPM.
21. Set the Disc High Limit to 45 RPM.
22. Prod Level Alarm should be set to 0.
23. Press More (14) at the bottom of the page.
24. Set the High Pop Alarm to 99%.
25. Set the Low Pop Alarm to 80%.
26. Press CTRL SETUP.
