8. Tap the Wing Lift softkey to set the wing lift
hydraulic system to active. This is indicated by
the Wing Lift softkey changing to a blue Active
Wing Lift softkey.
9. Use the tractor lift circuit lever to raise the wing
gauge wheels.
10. When the wing gauge wheels are raised, tap the
Active Wing Lift softkey so wing lift hydraulic
system is no longer active.
11. Set tractor lift circuit lever to “Neutral”.
12. Tap the Fold softkey to set the Fold hydraulic
system to active. This is indicated by the Fold
softkey changing to a blue Active Fold softkey.
13. Use tractor fold circuit lever until the planter is
fully folded.
14. Set the fold hydraulic circuit to “Neutral”.
15. When folding is complete, tap the Active Fold
softkey so fold hydraulic system is no longer
active.
16. Set the tractor circuit lever to “Neutral”.
17. Set the parking brake.
18. Set the tractor gear to “Park”.
19. Install cylinder locks on the four lift hydraulic
cylinders on the center frame.
20. Verify the wing hooks are resting on tongue stop.
21. Set tractor hydraulic circuits to “Neutral”.
22. Secure the wings to the tongue with a properly
rated shipping chain or strap.

Frame Damage Risk
Do not raise/lower the wing gauge wheels at
any time once the shipping chain has been
installed. While the shipping chain is installed
the planter lift hydraulic system should only be
operated as “Center” or “Center Lift” or planter
frame damage can occur.
