MAN IAQ Surveyor
Issue 11 2004
4. DATALOGGING FACILITIES
The instrument can be set to log overnight, for example, at
start and
fi
nish times when it is known that a building will be
unoccupied.
Autostart allows the instrument to automatically start and
stop a continuous logging session using start and stop times
speci
fi
ed by the user.
Notes: 1. Ensure that the instrument clock is correct
before using Autostart. The instrument clock
time is displayed briefl y when fi rst switched on
or by accessing the instrument info screen (see
section 2.2.3). See section 2.3.3.2 on setting the
clock.
2. The clock time may be changed during Autostart
logging but the logging session will be ended if the
clock time goes outside the start and fi nish times.
Autostart logging takes place during two time intervals:
a. The
fi
rst interval is before the speci
fi
ed start time.
During this time, no logging takes place but the
Autostart symbol ( ) is displayed to show that
Autostart is con
fi
gured. If the instrument is switched off
and back on again before the speci
fi
ed start time, the
Autostart remains con
fi
gured.
b.
The second interval is between the speci
fi
ed start and
fi
nish times. During this time, continuous logging takes
place and the
LOG
symbol is displayed, however the
restrictions described in Section 4.3.3 apply.
Autostart logging can be stopped by pressing the
LOG
button.
