GrIP User’s Guide
Chapter 5 – GrIP Software
Step Mode
Step mode allows you to program a single button with a series of
game commands (keystroke “Step strings”) that are always ex-
ecuted in the same order—or reverse order (for instance, cycling
through a collection of weapons).
Loop
. The Loop option lets you cycle, or “loop” through a series of
keystroke steps. This example demonstrates the difference be-
tween the results of pressing a button configured in Step mode
with and without Loop:

Step Functions:
When you define a Step mode
function, two functions are
actually added to the keyset:
one for ascending order
(designated by an “up”
arrow) and one for descend-
ing/reverse order (designated
by a “down” arrow).
