INSTALL SHEAVE AND SHEAVE ADAPTER
(FIGURE 6 AND 7)
1. Remove the wing knobs and discharge chute from
unit. Save wing knobs to install the blower bracket.
2. Remove mounting hardware and right belt cover
from mower deck (figure 6).
NOTE:
Only remove the nut holding down the belt cover
and the loose washer. Keep the bolts in place on the
deck.
IMPORTANT:
Keep the hex bolt for re-installation when
the bagger kit is removed.
NOTE:
The washer is used for installing the sheave
(item 13) and sheave adapter (item 14) in step 4.
3. Remove hex bolt and washer from right mower
deck spindle (figure 7).
4. Install sheave adapter (item 14), sheave (item 13),
and washer on right mower deck spindle with 3/8” x
1-3/4” hex bolt (item 11). See (figure 7).
NOTE:
Two sheave adapters are suppliled with unit. Use
the sheave adapter (item 13) that matches the holes in
the pulley (item 13). Other sheave adapter is not
required.
WARNING:
Keep discharge chute, wing knobs
and belt covers for re-installation when the
bagger kit is removed.
