of the many dangers and hazards which can arise if you work carelessly or irresponsibly. If you
take reasonable care, model flying is a highly creative, instructive, enjoyable and relaxing pastime.
Introduction
The MAXIE SPORT provides an ideal combination of smooth, inherently stable flying characteristics and
high performance.
The kit is highly pre-fabricated. Nevertheless, the procedures described in these instructions should be
carried out with the greatest care in order to ensure that the model flies safely and successfully.

It is important to obtain all the accessories required for your selected power variant before you start
construction, as the components will need to be trial-fitted and installed at the appropriate stage.
RC system
This model should only be flown with an FM radio control system with six or more channels, e.g. the mc-
19 to mc-24 RC sets. For more information about radio control system accessories please refer to the
main FS catalogue, or the operating instructions supplied with your radio control system.

Building the model
Use UHU plus schnellfest, Order No. 962 (fast-setting epoxy), as adhesive throughout the construction of
this model, unless specifically stated otherwise in the building instructions.
Thoroughly sand all areas inside the fuselage where parts are to be glued.
All components should be trial-fitted and trimmed to fit accurately before they are glued to the model.
Where hole positions are marked, drill them before installing the parts.
Allow plenty of time for glued joints to set hard. The glue must be completely cured before you resume
construction.
