GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES
This appliance is not intended for use by children under the age of 8 or other persons, without assistance or
supervision, if their physical, sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from using it safely or by persons
without experience and knowledge on the use there of. People using this product must understand the risks
related to the use of the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance by children without supervision is not allowed.
Children are not aware of dangers that may arise during the use of electric devices.
Keep the appliance and corresponding cord out of the reach of children under the age of 8.

Do not allow children to use the appliance as a toy.

Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord.
3.
Damaged power cord must be replaced by manufacturer, authorized service centre or other qualified
persons in order to avoid risk.

Do not allow the power cord to touch sharp edges or hot surfaces.
5.
The plug must fit the socket.
6.
The plug must not be modified in any way.

Avoid rain or moisture when using the appliance.

For cleaning the appliance use a soft and damp (not wet) cloth and a delicate cleaning agent. For
cleaning surfaces in contact with food use a cleaning agent provided for such surfaces. Follow the
guidelines of the cleaning agent’s manufacturer. Do not use solvents, gasoline and other agents which
may damage the appliance.

Transport and store in an original package protecting from humidity, dust and mechanical damages.

The appliance must be repaired by a qualified person using only original spare parts.

Do not leave the appliance running unattended.

If the heating surface is cracked turn the appliance off in order to avoid electrical shock.

The appliance is not provided for operating with use of external sleep timers or separate
remote control systems.

Accessible surfaces may become hot during operation. Do not touch accessible surfaces
during operation.

The temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher when the appliance is working. Do not touch
the heated surface of waffle maker. Always use the handle for lifting the waffle maker's cover.

Before cleaning, unplug from the mains. Allow it to cool down before cleaning.

Do not place the appliance on quickly heating surfaces. When placing the waffle iron on such surfaces
use a thermal insulating mat.

Before each actuation of the appliance check its status in scope of mechanical damage and check
whether the power cord is not damaged.
Don’t use damaged device.

The device is designed for indoor use only. It cannot be used or stored in places exposed to weather
factors.

Do not submerge in water!
