1 General
The Media-8 is an RGBHV Analogue Video + Stereo Analogue Audio (optional) 8x8 Router for
Multimedia applications. The Video Router has seamless tri-step switching, or vertical interval switching,
and a large signal bandwidth, which provides high performance up to 1600x1200 resolution. The Audio
Router has balanced inputs and outputs, and audio breakaway allows selecting audio independent from
video. A preset editor allows the user multi-crosspoint settings in one operation, and multi panel interface
allows control of the router from up to 20 different sites.
This top of the line Router provides high performance circuits in SMD technology, with no discernible
signal degradation. The built-in RS-232 interface allows the user to control the router via the Triton
Router Control System PC software with many operational features. The control bus allows linking of the
unit to other Triton Routers and Control Panels, all designed to suit the needs of the user.
The following formats may be configured (stereo audio is optional):
8x8
RGBHV + AA
