Alignment Equipment
The 8301A is fully aligned at the factory and normally requires no
adjustments in the field. If adjustments are necessary, they should
be attempted only by qualified technicians using, at a minimum,
the following equipment (or equivalents):

Tektronix GVP Deserializer M9103
■
Tektronix 2465B Oscilloscope
■
HP 5384A Frequency Counter
■
Test signal generator Tektronix TSG-300
■
Digital signal analyzer Viewtronics LTD, DIGIVIEW
NOTE:
SMS 8000 Series extender module, assembly 160007, may be
used to position a module outside the frame during adjustments.
