DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS

SPECIAL CONDITIONS REGARDING SAFETY OF WALL CHASER OPERATION

Mains voltage should match the voltage specified on the rating plate of the power tool.

 

Make sure that size of cutting blades is appropriate for the wall chaser.

 

Make sure the rotational speed specified on the cutting blade is equal or higher than rated speed of 

 

the wall chaser. 
Use only diamond cutting blades, using other types of cutting blades does not guarantee appropriate 

 

safety during operation.
Do not use cutting blades for grinding or any other task they are not designed for.

 

Store and use cutting blades in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

 

Check cutting blades before use, do not use blades that are warped, with dents, cracks or other 

 

damages.
Make sure the cutting blades are installed and fixed properly in accordance with the manufacturer’s 

 

instructions, start the tool and let it run without load for 30 seconds in safe position. If vibration or other 
malfunctions can be observed stop the tool immediately. If the situation is repeatable check the power 
tool and find the cause.
Never use the power tool without guard, if guard is supplied with the power tool.

 

Do not use separate quills or reducers to mount blades with larger hole.

 

Make sure all the fittings for working tool installation are complete. To ensure safe operation, all 

 

supplied parts: washers, flanges and nuts must be put on the spindle. 
Make sure there are no bystanders or animals in the room where wall chaser is used.

 

During operation move the wall chaser in direction opposite to rotation of cutting blades, according to 

 

arrow located on the tool body.
Do not expose the wall chaser to rain. Do not operate the wall chaser in moisture and with no proper 

 

illumination of the workplace.
Make sure the ventilation holes of the motor are unobstructed, keep them clean.

 

Before starting to work, check the workplace for hidden electrical, gas and plumbing installations.

 

Keep the power tool firmly with both hands when working. Do not touch metal parts of the tool. 

 

Accidental contact of the power tool with electrical installation may cause electric shock.
During operation always keep the power cord behind the power tool and away from rotating parts. 

 

The wall chaser should operate with external dust extraction device.

 

Always use dust mask, eyes and hearing protection.

 

Using personal protection equipment is also recommended, such as protection gloves, hard helmet and 

 

protective apron.
Cutting blades rotate for some time after switching off – stay alert.

 

CAUTION! This device is designed to operate indoors.

The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and additional safety systems are used, 
nevertheless there is always a small risk of operational injuries.

CONSTRUCTION AND USE

Wall chaser is a hand-held power tool driven by single-phase commutator motor with insulation class II. 
The power tool is designed for cutting and making chases in walls, floors etc. in materials like concrete, 
stone, brick etc. without use of water.
The wall chaser is equipped with system that allows connecting external dust extraction, e.g. industrial 
vacuum cleaner, which should be operating during work.
