operator not working at all

-

check power cord is plugged in and switched ON.   Check fuse

or circuit breaker for the gate is ON.  For Battery versions if the power has been turned OFF and

the battery has run flat the power must be turned ON and the operator left to charge over night

before it is used.  If power is OK check all control devices are working properly.  Photocells should

be aligned properly, ground loop detector may need adjusting, 7-day timer may need adjusting

or any other devices that can hold the gate open may prevent the gate from closing if they aren’t

working properly.

battery powered operator running very slowly

 - check power cord is plugged in and

switched ON.   Check fuse or circuit breaker for the gate is ON.  If either of these are OFF turn them

ON and leave the the gate over night to fully charge.  If they are ON then check the trickle charge

cabling to the gate and repair where necessary.  If cabling is OK the battery may need replacing.

solar powered operator running very slowly

 - the solar panel may not be getting enough

sun to keep the battery charged.  Check the Solar Panel is getting adaquate sunlight and cabling is

in good condition.  An extra solar panel and storage battery may be required and/or the solar panel

repositioned so it gets more sun.

remote control range drops some times -

most likely caused by interference from some

other device in the area using a similar frequency.  Installing an external antenna can minimize

the  effects  of  interference,  other  wise  if  this  doesn’t  help  the  frequency  of  the  remote  controls

should be changed.  each remote control will need to be changed for a differnent frequency along

with the receiver module plugged into the e-Gate control or stand alone receiver board(s).  The

receiver module is a small yellow board that plugs into the main board near where the antenna

is wired in.  Power should be removed form the operator before a receiver module is changed.

Both the remote controls and receiver modules come in either 433.92Mhz or 315Mhz, if you have

interference problems with one frequency we can send you remote controls of the other frequency,

which normally solves the problem.
