3.2 Burner Oil Connection
The fuel pump is supplied for use with a
single pipe fuel supply system. For use
on a two pipe system, it is necessary to
fit the By-pass screw into the tapping in
the return port. See Figure 3-5.
The By-pass screw is supplied in the
boiler accessory pack.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Remove the plastic burner cover
(two screws).
2. Remove and discard the blanking
plug from the return connection of
the pump and fit the By-pass screw
using a hexagonal key.
3. Connect the return oil flexible fuel
line to the pump.

adaptor to the flexible fuel line.
Flexible fuel lines and adaptors are
available to purchase from Grant
Engineering (UK) Ltd.
The burner cover may be left off until
the boiler is commissioned.
The blanking plug supplied in the
inlet (suction) port may now be
plastic and will not provide an oil
tight seal when the pump is running.
Ensure the supply from the tank
is connected to this port and the
plastic plug is discarded.
