POS Setup Function
1 OFF button Immediate shutdown
2 Finger protection Avoids accidental access to the front side of the blade with
the thumb/
fingers.
3 Positively driven end-piece holder Forces the use with small pieces of cutting materials,
e.g. leftover pieces, and thus avoids
injuries to the fingers of the hand
4 Locking of the stop plate The slide can only be tilted if the
stop plate has been fully closed (below-zero-position) and
the blade edge is thus covered.
5 Blade protecting ring Prevents accidental access to the edge of the blade
6 Switch-on protection No automatic start of the machine following an
interruption of power supply, e.g. “power failure”.
