Preventive Maintenance Schedule
Disposal
At the product’s end-of-life, recycle the equipment in a responsible manner, per local regulations.
•
The series A 25M530 mixer motor contains electronic circuit boards that may need to be removed and recycled
separately from other components.
•
Mixers contain lubricating grease in the motor coupler joint and in the gear-box. This grease may need to be
flushed/drained and recycled separately from other components.
Routine Inspection
Frequency
Ensure all protective clips, ring pins, latches, grating, fasteners, housings, and
enclosures are installed and in good working order, functioning properly, and free of
excessive wear, cracks, or corrosion.
Before every use
Ensure all electrical components, cabling, and motor are properly assembled so
that they are sealed from water ingress, free of debris, and in good working order.
Ensure all warning labels are clean and easily readable.
Grease
Frequency
Motor grease fitting (CD)
Shell Gadus S2 V220 2 (formerly
Shell Retinax EP2) or an
equivalent NLGI Grade 2 grease
compatible with rubber.
Ensure any grease used is
compatible. Do not mix grease
types.
Monthly
Gear-box
CLP ISO VG220 gear oil or
equivalent.
Ensure any oil used is compatible.
Do not mix oil types.
10,000 hours or 3 years
(whichever comes first)
