3. Squeeze the trigger. It may be locked. See Locking
and Unlocking the Trigger , page 10.
Fluid flows, and the amount displayed counts up from
zero or the previously dispensed amount.
4. Release/unlock the trigger when you have dis -
pensed the desired amount of fluid.
Fluid flow stops. The amount you have dispensed is
displayed.
You may press and hold the Man -
ual/Reset button again to reset
the displayed amount to zero.
NOTE: When the trigger is released, the automatic
nozzle prevents the fluid in the extension from running
out.
Dispensing Fluid in Auto Mode
1. Press and hold the
Auto/Reset button.
The display wakes up if it was
asleep, and AUTO and the stored
preset dispense amount are dis -
played. The factory default is
5.00.
NOTE: To change the stored preset dispense amount,
see Auto Preset Amount , page 14.
2. Dispensing or changing the displayed preset
amount is done by one of the following:
• Go straight to step 3 to dispense the displayed
preset amount.
or
• To change the displayed preset amount:
a. Press and hold the
Auto/Reset button to
set the display to zero.
b. Press the10 button to
change the 10’s digit.
press the 1.0 button to
change the 1’s digit.
and the 0.1 button to
change the first deci -
mal digit. Zero cannot
be entered.
NOTE: to reset the display to
0.00, press and hold the Manual /
Reset button.

NOTICE
Before beginning a preset dispense cycle, make sure
that AUTO is displayed. If AUTO is not on the display,
it is not in Auto dispense mode, and fluid flow will not
stop when the auto preset amount is dispensed.
