If there is any damage to the kettle or power cord, contact customer service. Only
authorized service centers may repair or replace. Do not attempt to dismantle the
kettle in any way.
Problem

Water tastes like
plastic
The kettle display
turns on but is
not boiling
The kettle is not
turning on
Kettle turns off before
water is fully boiled
Kettle does not turn
off after boiling
The kettle is overheated. Unplug the kettle, fill with water,
and allow to cool down before using.
This happens when the kettle is new. Fill the kettle with
clean water to maximum level and boil. Discard the water
and repeat the process.
Check that the power cord is properly connected.
