ATTENTION!
• Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and
animals.
• Fire
hazard!
The device is very hot during use and afterwards! When setting
up the device, make sure you choose an area with adequate space around
the device (at least 10 cm on the sides and 30 cm above).
1. Unpack the device and make sure that the scope of delivery is complete
(see chapter “Product contents and device overview”) and check for any
damages from transport. Should you identify any transport damage, do not
use the device(!); instead please promptly consult the customer service.
2. Remove any stickers and foils from the device.
3. There may be some production residue stuck to the device. To avoid health
risks, clean the inside of the housing, the grate, the baking sheet, pizza
stones and crumb tray thoroughly before
fi
rst use (see chapter “Cleaning”).
4. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant and even surface at a suf
fi
cient
distance to
fl
ammable objects. Please ensure that the device is not accessible
to children.
5. Unwind the mains cord and insert the mains plug in a properly installed,
230 V earthed socket. Your oven is now ready for operation.
6. The
fi
rst time you use the device, do so without food as residual coating
could cause a small amount of odour or smoke to form. Set the device to the
highest temperature setting and to top and bottom heat and let it heat up for
approx. 15 minutes without any contents (see chapter “Operation”). In the
process, ensure that the room is well ventilated, e.g. with windows that have
been opened wide!
Operation
ATTENTION!
• Burn hazard! During operation, the device becomes very hot. Be absolutely
sure that you do not come into contact with the heated parts during and after
using the device. Use potholders or kitchen gloves when opening the glass
door and when removing or inserting food.
• Always place the device on a dry, level, solid and heat-resistant surface with
adequate space of approximately 10 cm on all sides and 30 cm of overhead
space.
• Make sure the room is adequately ventilated when the device is in use.
