Description :
The suction pump SP32 02-80 consists of an electromagnetic oscillating
piston pump, a working float (starting and stopping the motor), an electro
-valve (E) or a mechanical valve (M), an overflow safety, a thermal
safety, a low safety and a float for leak in the retention tank, all control-
led by an electronic circuit. The motor is protected by a fine filter that is
built into a metal part. Two additional electronic safety measures also
protect the engine in the event of the cistern being empty or leaking. The
pump function is secured by a drip tray and is delivered ready-made,
with cable and pipe fittings for ø 6/8 mm (ø 8/10 mm on request) copper
tubes all included. Maintenance is limited to a periodic cleaning of the
suction filter. Our pump conforms to standards regulations EN 12514-2,
EN 60335-1 and EN 55015-1.
1. Usage :
Suction pump SP32 02-80 is used as an intermediate tier in the feeding
of automatic oil burners. The pump sucks in the fuel oil according to
DIN EN 51603-1 EL à DIN V 51603-6 EL A Bio 5 upto maximum level of
height 7m and fills its own tank with a capacity of 7.3 litres per automatic
cycle. There must not be a backflow preventer valve in the suction pipe.
With the tank being open, no purging system is required. The oil burner
can be above or below the pump (see examples). When the burner is
above the pump, the total height of the suction pipe in the oil burner’s
cistern can reach 9m.
2. Caution during installation:
Before installing the pump, ensure the safety packaging is removed
as follows: remove the pump from the packaging, remove the lid by
loosening the 3 screws (10), take off the protective plastic caps on the
pipe fittings (15).
3. Wall Mounting
Accessibility between the lid and the pump must always be observed.
It must be located at least 25cm above the highest oil heater so that no
inlet pressures can occur. Make sure that this is straight (±2° tolerance).
The pump must always be at least 25 cm above the highest level of the
cistern. The oil lifter may only be operated in dry and well-ventilated
rooms
4. Pipe Installation
All the pipes (both suction and delivery) must be in ø 8/10 mm copper
tubes. If they are in ø6/8 mm tubes, replace the pump’s ø 8/10 mm (15)
pipe fittings with ø6/8 mm pipe fittings, which are provided in the acces-
sories bag. Ensure the pipe fittings are airtight when assembled. The
pipe junctions are bit type sleeves. Avoid throttling and closed angles.
Do not use hemp to seal the pipe fittings. All this must be carried out in
accordance with legal regulations.
Order of Assembly
1. Assemble the packing boxes (14) without lock nuts on
the tubes (3 & 4).
2. Pass the tubes (3 & 4) through the purpose-made holes in the tank.
3. Assemble the packing box lock nuts (14) on the tubes (3 & 4)
as well as the nuts and bolts of the pipe fittings (15).
4. Connect the tubes (3 & 4) and tighten the pipe fittings (15).
5. Assemble the packing boxes (14) on the tank and then tighten all the
nuts
5. Electrical Installation
The power supply must be 230 V/50 Hz and grounded. The SP32 02
pumps are delivered with cable and power plug.
Solenoid valve version
Do not forget to connect the solenoid valve to the oil burner before com-
missioning. This solenoid valve, which is normally closed, is controlled
by the oil burner. As soon as this stops, the solenoid valve’s
power supply must be interrupted in order to avoid a possible siphonage
effect.
