TIP:
When using camera in rain or water, apply RAIN-X or similar
anti-beading solution to waterproof housing lens to prevent
water spots from forming. When RAIN-X is not available,
periodically licking the lens may help.
To swap out backdoor:
1. Open backdoor so that it hangs downward.
2. Gently pull downward on backdoor until it snaps free from hinge.
3. Line up replacement backdoor into hinge opening.
4. Push upwards on backdoor until it clicks into place.
LATCH CLOSuRE
•To Open Backdoor
1. Grip camera with left hand.
2. Using right hand, place thumb to left side of arrow and index finger just
below latch arm.
3. Pinch fingers together, sliding arrow to the right.
4. Use fingertips to pull upward, allowing latch arm to swing to fully
upright position.
5. Lift hinged arm over camera.
To close properly, be sure grooved sections of latch arm and backdoor are hooked.
•To Close Backdoor
The GoPro backdoor latch offers one hand open and close functionality.
1. Position backdoor into place.
2. Lift latch arm into upright position allowing hinged arm to hang downward
3. Hook grooved portion of hinged arm to grooved top of backdoor.
4. Use one finger to push down latch arm to snap into place.
