The HERO3 can take photos in 11 MP, 8 MP and 5 MP resolutions. Any change to
resolution affects photos taken in
Photo, Photo Burst and Time Lapse Photo modes.

To change Photo mode, verify camera is in Settings menu. If is
not showing, press repeatedly until it appears:
1. Press to enter menu.
2. Use to cycle through Settings menu to locate .
3. Press to enter
Photo menu.
4. Use to cycle through options.
5. Press to select highlighted option.
6. To exit, hold down for two seconds.

PHOTO BURST
Photo Burst mode produces a series of photos when is pressed. This
mode can operate in one of four different combinations.
3 photos in 1 second
5 photos in 1 second
10 photos in 1 second (default)
10 photos in 2 seconds
To change Photo Burst mode, verify camera is in Settings menu. If
is not showing, press repeatedly until it appears:
1. Press to enter menu.
2. Use to cycle through Settings menu to locate .
3. Press to enter Photo Burst menu.
4. Use to cycle through options.
5. Press to select highlighted option.
6. To exit, hold down for two seconds.
