2 Description and Function
LNBs are made for receiving satellite signals in home
area like e.g. radio and television signals. Depending on
design, 1 to 2 satellite signals can be received from 1-8
participants. LNBs are installed to satellite dishes and
directly or indirectly connected to one or more satellite
receivers. Apart from using single LNBs, satellite receiv-
ers must support the DiSEqC signal (
1.0 or later) to be
able to switch between the satellites.
