FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE

The treadmill console offers an impressive array of

features designed to make your workouts more

effective and enjoyable.

When you select the manual mode of the console, you

can change the speed and incline of the treadmill with

the touch of a button. As you exercise, the console will

display continuous exercise feedback. You can even

measure your heart rate using the built-in handgrip

pulse sensor or the optional chest pulse sensor (see

page 20).

The console also features six interactive cross trainer

workouts designed to help you to burn calories and en-

hance your cardiovascular system while toning and

strengthening your muscles. The voice of a personal

trainer will guide you through the workouts. The cross

trainer workouts automatically control the speed and

incline of the treadmill and prompt you to perform a va-

riety of strength exercises. There are two whole body,

two upper body, and two lower body cross trainer

workouts. Note: The strength exercises require the use

of dumbbells and an inflatable exercise ball (not in-

cluded).

To purchase dumbbells or an exercise ball,

see the front cover of this manual.

In addition, a distance workout counts down the dis-

tance as you complete a 5-kilometer or 10-kilometer

run. The console also features four preset workouts.

Each workout automatically controls the speed and in-

cline of the treadmill as it guides you through an effec-

tive exercise session.

You can even listen to your favorite workout music or

audio books with the consoleʼs stereo sound system

while you exercise.

To turn on the power,

see page 13.

To use the man-

ual mode of the console,

see page 13.

To use a

cross trainer workout,

see page 15.

To use a dis-

tance workout,
