CLEANING THE MOTORISED BRUSH HEAD

NOTE:  

The motorised brush head should be checked regularly to ensure that 

nozzle cushions, wheels and brush rollers are clean and free from damage, to 
avoid scratching sensitive surfaces.

1.

If the motorised head becomes blocked or jammed, turn the appliance off 
immediately.

2.

Carefully remove any items, such as threads, that may have become tangled in the 
device.

3.

If the motorised head needs to be removed for cleaning, open the hatch cover by 
turning the locking screw anti-clockwise a with a screwdriver.  Gently remove the 
cover. 

4.

Lift out the roller brush and remove dirt or tangled objects.  

5.

Fit the roller brush back into device, ensuring that it fits within the guides and spins 
freely.

6.

Replace the hatch cover and lock into place by turning the locking screw anti-
clockwise until tight

If one of the wheels on the motorised head is jammed:
1.

Remove the wheel by carefully inserting a flat head screwdriver into the wheel 
cavity and applying gentle upwards pressure against the wheel axle. 

2.

Remove any dirt or tangled objects.

3.

Reattach the wheel and axle by placing them back into the cavity and applying 
gentle pressure to click back into place.

BATTERY PACK REPLACEMENT AND DISPOSAL

This unit is powered by nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries, which must be
recycled or disposed of in accordance with local law.

DO NOT attempt to replace the batteries used in this product with any other types
of battery.

If the Stick Vac appliance is to be disposed of, the batteries should be removed
first.

DO NOT attempt to replace the batteries used in this product yourself.

The

batteries should only be replaced by a reputable service technician.

CAUTION

NEVER use ordinary batteries for replacement, as these may leak and damage 
your appliance. 

USE ONLY with the battery pack supplied with the unit.

DO NOT attempt to remove the battery pack from the unit to charge it.

NEVER use the unit without the battery compartment cover in place.

NEVER attempt to throw the battery pack or unit into a fire or incinerate it. 

DO NOT attempt to remove or damage the battery casing.

Battery must be recycled or disposed of properly at the end of its service life.
