GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
• It is illegal for persons other than those authorised by legislation to work on the fixed wiring
of any electrical installation.
• All installations must be in accordance with the local Electrical Wiring Regulations and
Wiring Rules.
• Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring
rules.
• This heater must not be mounted immediately below or in front of a socket outlet.
• The heater must be installed a minimum of 1.85 metres from the floor, a minimum of 300mm from
the nearest side to an adjacent wall and a minimum of 300mm from the ceiling to the top face of
the heater (see Fig. 5). The heater must not be mounted to the ceiling or be built in/recessed.
• The appliance is to be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by
a person in the bath or shower.
• The appliance must be mounted in such a position that doors or other moving objects will
not obstruct the heater.
• The appliance must be mounted in such a position that curtains and other combustible materials
are kept well clear.
WIRING AND FIXING TO WALL
•Select a location for mounting of the heater in accordance with the GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS.
•The heater must be connected by permanent wiring within the wall cavity from an isolating
•Switch.
•Unpack carefully. Make sure to discard of all packaging and to keep the mounting screw kit.
•Disassemble the lid from the wall mount/connection box(see Fig.1).
•Turn the heater 90º to enable it vertical with its bracket(see Fig.2).
•Choose carefully a place suitable for wall mounting and drill two holes, then fix the bracket of the
heater to the wall using the two plastic plugs and screws supplied(See Fig. 3).
•After ensuring that the power supply matches that indicated on the rating label on the heater, re-fit
the wall mount/connection box cover and position the angle of the heater to your personal
liking(see Fig. 4).
