10. firmWare uPgraDe
Firmware upgrade is to improve and optimize the performance of the player. The normal work
of the player would not be affected even if the firmware isn’t upgraded. The wrong operation of
upgrading firmware would cause the device not to work normally. Follow these steps to update
your media player.
Select to update the firmware from via USB stick
Copy” kmp381MMB.AP” to the root directory of an USB stick
Insert the USB device in the USB port of the player.
Select the Browser in the main menu and select the USB option, press OK over the firmware
file to start upgrading.
Restart the player once updated.
11. TrouBleshooTing
If you encounter problems when using this unit, check the following points before requesting
service.

Please:
Confirm that you have an appropriate power source
Check if all connections between wall outlet and
power supply, and power supply and the player are
correct
Switch per button on back of the multimedia player to
turn on the power

Point the remote control towards the remote receiver
Make sure the signal from the remote control to the
receiver on the player is not blocked by solid objects
Reduce the distance to the media player
Replace Remote control batteries if they exhausted
Re-insert the batteries with their polarities (+/- signs)
as indicated.

Select the appropriate video input on your TV
