Configuring Your GoFindR – Advanced Settings
Once you are back to the main “Settings” screen, you can now configure your advanced settings.
The first advanced setting is for Deep Sleep Mode. This setting can help extend your battery life by
shutting down certain parts of your GoFindR when you don’t need them. As a user, you can control
when the Deep Sleep Mode is active. To activate the Deep Sleep Mode slide the switch to activate it
to YES. Then set the time of day for when Deep Sleep Mode starts and the time of day when you
want Deep Sleep Mode to end. Once you are satisfied with your setting, scroll to the top of the setting
screen and hit the SEND button to send the Deep Sleep message to your GoFindR.
During Deep Sleep Mode, the Cellular chip is deactivated, so you can neither send nor receive SMS
messages. Also, there will be no position data reported to the App during Deep Sleep Mode.
