CHASSIS FASTENERS
Make sure that all nuts, bolts and screws are properly tightened before starting engine.
STARTING ENGINE (COLD)
1. Set the parking brake. (The engine can be started only when the rear front/rear brake lever is applied.)
2. Turn the fuel valve lever to the on position.
3. Turn the ignition key to the on position.
4. Set the choke lever to cold start position (all the way to the left).
5.
Press and hold the start button until the engine starts. Never hold the start button for more than 10 seconds
per try. It may be necessary to push the throttle lever a small amount to start the engine.
6. When engine warms up, slowly move the throttle lever to the right. Choke lever must be in the off position
(all the way to the right) in order to operate the ATV.
7. Release the parking brake.
STARTING ENGINE (WARM)
1. Set the parking brake. (The engine can be started only when the rear front/rear brake
lever is applied).
2. Turn the fuel valve lever to the on position.
3. Turn the ignition key to the on position.
4. Set the choke lever to warm start position (all the way to the right).
5.
Press and hold the start button until the engine starts. Never hold the start button more than 10 seconds per
try. It may be necessary to push the throttle lever a small amount to start the engine.
6. Release the parking brake.
