When the temperature icon flashes this means that the 

setpoint temperature can be selected.
Otherwise, the icon remains constant and the screen shows 

the value of the ambient temperature.
Control not set as room control:
The temperature shown represents the water inlet (return)

temperature.

NOTE:

 The desired ambient temperature can only be set 

when the control is set as a room thermostat.
