Caring for the module
The @ctiveLink module is designed to be used both in and out of the handheld
computer. It doesn’t require any special care.
Turning the module off
Even when the @ctiveLink module is out of the handheld computer, it continues
to receive and store messages as long as it is turned on and is in network range.
It’s best to leave the module on unless:
• You are in an environment where wireless messaging is prohibited.
• You won’t be using your wireless service for an extended period and wish to
conserve battery power.
• You are out of range.
