After each check or repair of luminaires, it is recommended to run a manually triggered test.
A report is generated for each manually or automatically triggered test.
According to PN-EN 50172, the reports from the automatic testing device shall be available as
printouts.
BATTERY FORMATTING
The batteries in the emergency luminaires shall be formatted once a year (it is recommended to format
6 months after the battery autonomy test). Automatic battery formatting can be programmed in the
control application according to the section
6. Programming the emergency lighting system.
Failure
to format the batteries may result in warranty becoming null and void.
REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT
Note!
For the correct operation of the system, damaged devices shall be replaced only with the devices
manufactured by ES-SYSTEM.
Third-party devices can be connected to the system after ES-SYSTEM consent.
In case of emergency luminaires, after a repair or replacement the correct operation shall be verified
by means of a manually triggered functional test according to Section
6. Programming the
emergency lighting system
.
MAINTENANCE
VERTEX devices do not require any special maintenance. Remove dust and other dirt using a dry
cloth. In case of high dust content it is recommended to blow the control unit interior with compressed
air. Do not use chemicals.
Note!
Any maintenance operations can be performed only when the control unit is disconnected from the
mains. In case of Alterations in the control unit power supply system, measurements shall be taken
adequate to the measurement of cabinets.
In addition to tests conforming to PN - EN 50172, the routine maintenance includes:
•
analysis of test reports;
•
current troubleshooting;
•
analysis of the battery formatting report;
•
system software update.
Pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Interior and Administration of 7 June 2010, technical
inspection and maintenance shall be performed in intervals specified by the manufacturer, at least
once a year.
ES-SYSTEM provides warranty and post-warranty service performed by qualified service personnel.
DISPOSAL OF DEVIC ES AND PACKAGING
ES-SYSTEM luminaires and electronic devices do not contain hazardous substances defined by the
RoHS Directive 2008/35/CE.
ES-SYSTEM is a signatory of the agreement for recycling of luminaires and electronic devices.
The packagings shall be sorted by size, type and material.
