WARNINGS:
• S
witch the unit off, unplug and wipe immediately when any
liquid splatters on the motor housing.
•
Make sure the mixer comes to a complete stop before ejecting
or replacing attachments.
•
Never run the mixer for more than 3 minutes at a time.
•
Ensure the speed dial is OFF (0) before plugging the cord into
an electrical outlet.
• Always begin mixing on the lowest speed and increase to a
higher speed as needed.
SPEED DIAL:
Push the dial to the right for speeds 1–5. Push the dial to the
far left for TURBO.
Speed 1: To blend in flour/dry ingredients and liquids for batters and
cookie dough; to stir nuts, chips, raisins into heavy cookie
dough.
Speed 2: To mix thin batters such as muffins, waffles, pancakes and quick
breads; to prepare sauces, puddings.
Speed 3: To cream butter and sugar; to beat eggs into batters; to prepare
cake mixes specifying medium speed; to mix frosting.
Speed 4: To beat eggs; to mix light batters.
Speed 5: Dial is all the way to the right. To whip cream, beat egg whites
or mash potatoes.
TURBO: Dial is all the way to the left. Use TURBO for short bursts of
power.
DO NOT use TURBO for more than 2 minutes at a time,
as the motor may overheat and cause damage to the mixer.
EJECT BUTTON:
Press to release attachments from the hand mixer. This
button can only be pressed when the speed dial is set to
OFF (0).
