CLEANING & CARE
1. Turn off and unplug the appliance.
2. Allow the appliance to come to room temperature before cleaning.
3. If the tray behind the evaporator fingers is not in the vertical position,
gently push the tray back so that all water drains into the reservoir.
4. Open the drain plug to drain out remaining water and remove the ice
basket.
5. DO NOT use abrasive brushes or pads or harsh cleaning solutions.
6. Wash the ice basket and ice scoop in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
7. DO NOT clean the evaporator fingers.
8. To clean the interior of the ice maker, use a soft cloth dampened in warm
water and vinegar. Rinse with a clean damp cloth.
9. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
10. DO NOT immerse any electrical appliance, its cord, or its plug, into water.
11. When the ice maker is not in use, or is being stored, ensure the
reservoir is completely dry to keep mold from forming. Store with the
drain plug open.
