The Gigaset USB Stick 54 can affect medical equipment. You should therefore pay
attention to the technical conditions of its environment.

Make sure you include the operating instructions if you pass on your Gigaset USB
Stick 54 to somebody else.

Under no circumstances should you try to use a damaged device. If in doubt, please
contact our service department, see Section "Customer service (Customer Care)" on
page 47.
Notes on secure operation
When you have installed and configured the Gigaset USB Stick 54 on your PC, you
should make some security settings on the wireless network:

Change the SSID for all wireless devices in your network
(see "SSID (Service Set Identifier)" on page 19).

Encrypt the communication over your wireless network
(see "Configuration – Security" on page 21).
