Static MAC Address
When you add a static MAC address, it remains in the switch’s address table,
regardless of whether the device is physically connected to the switch. This
saves the switch from having to re-learn a device’s MAC address when the
disconnected or powered-off decive is active on the network again.

MAC Address
Enter the MAC address to and from which the port should permanently
forward traffic, regardless of the device’s network activity.
Vlan ID
If tag-based (802.1Q) VLAN are set up on the switch, static addresses
are associated with individual VLANs. Type the VID to associate with the
MAC address.
