Remove the light from the transport case.
Secure the carabiner hook to the light's hanging ring.
Then establish the electrical connection by plugging in and locking the cable
coupling. Ensure that the union nut is fully screwed onto the angled plug.
Set the selector switch on the light to the required position:
In position 1
, once the power is connected, 50% of the lights are switched on.
When set up correctly, this position helps you to avoid dazzling passing vehicle
drivers.
In position 2
, once the power is connected, 100% of the lights are switched on.
The light then shines all around.
The light can now be hung onto any suitable lifting tackle using the carabiner hook.
When the light is hanging by the carabiner hook, always guide the connecting cable
from the underside of the light through the carabiner hook first and only then
onwards to the voltage supply.
You must ensure that the supporting installation has sufficient load-bearing capacity
and that the lights cannot injure anyone because of where they are located.
Safety when switching on and during operation
Only establish the connection to the mains voltage via a standards-compliant
plug connector that has been secured against surge currents and suitably earthed.
We recommend using a circuit breaker (leakage current circuit breaker) in the
supply cable to each individual light.
When operating multiple lights on a series of cable reels, be aware of the
voltage drop that occurs in the cable over long distances.
Avoid eye irritation caused by looking directly at the light for too long.
